Seeker

All transfixed, looked upon this intrepid pilgrim

A journey embarked on not by choice or whim

On paths taken, determined to prove one's purpose

With resolution, will one so welcomed remain focused?

A lifetime wrapped in arms of challenges, yet unflinching

So much shown, for each step known, just truly demanding

If only one embraced in the arms of days and nights

With reverence not settle or succumb to shades of lights

One yields to every drop of rain, all of nature's showroom

Even resist gladly to all that graciously bid them doom

As the frailty of one's frame bends towards time even yielding

A mind looks on and is inspired to find true meaning behind living

May one allow themself the freedom to search out

Even be willing enough to live by what they are floundering about

Along the way to finally say, efforts at knowing will never end

The One with no beginning or ending ever a dearest friend

Once allowed to drink from this ever-flowing fountain

One will never thirst again, as it satiates again and again

As the hart pants to be worthy of such an honor, all of one color

A red river flows in a sister, brother, even a neighbor
